Basketball Recap: Hendersonville Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

With a playoff win on the line, Hendersonville rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They walked away with a 68-57 victory over the West Stokes Wildcats. The win was nothing new for the Bearcats as they're now sitting on four straight.

Hendersonville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Martiste Mills, who posted 16 points and five steals. Mills is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 15 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jordan Wynn, who went 6-for-10 on his way to 16 points and four steals.

Hendersonville's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-7. As for West Stokes, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-15.

Hendersonville has already played their next contest, a 59-50 defeat against Monroe on the 28th. West Stokes does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
