Soccer Recap: Bear Creek Takes a Loss

If Bear Creek was feeling good fresh off their 8-2 takedown of Roosevelt last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bear Creek Bears fell 3-1 to the Mountain Range Mustangs on Tuesday.

Bear Creek's goal came courtesy of Sadie Staib, who's now up to five this season.

Bear Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Mountain Range, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Coming up, Bear Creek will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Pueblo West at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mountain Range, they will challenge Smoky Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
