Volleyball Recap: Thursday's Loss Ends Bandys' Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Bandys unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the North Lincoln Knights. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Knights when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bandys was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 15 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-15.

Peyton Laney paced Bandys' offense, picking up two kills. Laney got some help from Camdyn Earnhardt and her four assists. Finally, Avelyn Watkins kept Bandys' defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Bandys' defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for North Lincoln, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bandys will square off against Maiden at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Lincoln, they will face off against Alexander Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
