After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cape Fear Academy, Coastal Christian was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Swansboro Pirates a 4-0 shutout. Considering Coastal Christian have won ten matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Coastal Christian is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up four goals over those ten games. As for Swansboro, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Coastal Christian will square off against Topsail at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Swansboro, they will host West Carteret at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
