Football Recap: White Station Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact White Station can now relate to. They were beaten by the Collierville Dragons 56-0 on Friday. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Dragons recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Collierville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Autry, Lawrence, who rushed for 110 yards and two TDs on only six carries. The Dragons are 7-1 when Lawrence posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Tae Walden Jr, who picked up 119 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

White Station's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Collierville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

White Station does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Collierville, they will square off against Antioch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
