Basketball Recap: Letcher County Central Takes a Loss

Letcher County Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 43-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knott County Central Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars / Lady Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-48 back in December of 2024.

Letcher County Central's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Knott County Central, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-9.

Letcher County Central has already played their next game, a 62-26 win against Cordia on the 6th. As for Knott County Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 58-44 victory against Harlan on the 6th.
