Volleyball Recap: Caddo Mills Triumphs

Caddo Mills's tournament run continued when they took on Peaster on Thursday. The Foxes walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Greyhounds. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Foxes.

Despite the loss, Peaster had strong showings from Kyler Shirley, who had 13 digs and one assist, and Chloe Pilgrim, who had ten digs. With that strong performance, Shirley is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game. Malory Hockaday also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Caddo Mills' win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Peaster, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.

Caddo Mills didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Sulphur Springs on the 21st. As for Peaster, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Hereford on the 21st.
