There's no place like home for Brevard HEAT, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Calvary Chapel Academy Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Firehawks in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won nine in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Brevard HEAT was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15, 25-12.

Cambrya Walters paced Brevard HEAT's offense, picking up nine kills. Walters got some help from Anna Livengood and her 17 assists. Emily Livengood controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Brevard HEAT's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Calvary Chapel Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brevard HEAT will face off against Merritt Island Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Calvary Chapel Academy, they will square off against Odyssey Charter School at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
