Volleyball Recap: Winamac Takes a Loss

Winamac was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northwestern Tigers. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in August of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Grace Roth paced Winamac's offense, picking up three kills. Roth got some help from Abby Keller and her two assists.

Winamac's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Northwestern, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coincidentally, Winamac and Northwestern will both be playing Peru the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Tigers at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
