Volleyball Recap: Lathrop Beats Johansen for Their Fourth Straight Victory + How To Watch

Lathrop waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Johansen Vikings 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-17, 25-8.

Leading Lathrop to victory were Sariah Hilton and Jadore Dixon. Hilton had six digs and six aces, while Dixon had 12 digs and four aces. What's more, Hilton racked up seven assists, the most she's had since back in September.

They weren't the only good servers: Lathrop was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in three consecutive matches.

Lathrop's win bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Johansen, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-14.

Lathrop wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Livingston on the 15th. As for Johansen, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Central Valley on the 15th.
