Lucas Grossman was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. He has become a key player for Chouteau-Mazie: the team is 4-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 0-8 otherwise.
