Basketball Recap: Lakeview Takes a Loss

Lakeview lost against Kent City back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lakeview Wildcats received a blow as they fell 56-38 to the Kent City Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 443rd, while the Eagles are ranked 204th).

Lakeview has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Kent City, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

Lakeview has already played their next contest (against Holton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Kent City has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Kenowa Hills.
