Football Preview: Tuscola Mountaineers vs. Pisgah Bears
Tuscola hasn't had much luck against Pisgah recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Tuscola Mountaineers are taking a road trip to face off against the Pisgah Bears at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Having struggled with three losses in a row, Tuscola finally turned things around against North Henderson on Friday. They walked away with a 20-12 win over the Knights.
Gavin Langley was a one-man wrecking crew for Tuscola as he rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. Langley also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making three total tackles and defending four passes in addition to snagging an interception.
Tuscola was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 236 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2023.
