Volleyball Recap: West Covina Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

West Covina had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Covina Colts on Thursday. The Bulldogs not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 18th.

West Covina not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Covina between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16, 25-13.

West Covina's victory bumped their record up to 6-19. As for Covina, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.

Looking ahead, West Covina will face off against South El Monte at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Covina, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Colony at 4:30 p.m. on the 15th.
