Basketball Recap: Gladstone Takes a Loss

If Gladstone was riding high fresh off their 57-35 takedown of Estacada last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Gladstone Gladiators were outmatched by The Dalles Riverhawks and fell 50-18. The defeat continues a trend for the Gladiators in their matchups with the Riverhawks: they've now lost four in a row.

Gladstone's loss dropped their record down to 4-19. As for The Dalles, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 16-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gladstone will welcome Molalla at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for The Dalles, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Estacada at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
