Norwich Free Academy entered their tilt with Woodstock Academy on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Centaurs  a   17-0 shutout. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by six  runs or more this season.
Not much got past  Olivia Bourdon, who gave up just  two  hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Woodstock Academy off the board.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Sophie Miner, who  went 2-for-4 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and two  doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of  Chloe Green, who  went 4-for-5 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Norwich Free Academy  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least 12  hits in four consecutive  games.
Norwich Free Academy pushed their record up to 7-1 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Woodstock Academy, they now  have a losing record of 4-5.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norwich Free Academy will challenge Griswold at 3:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Woodstock Academy, they will square off against St. Bernard at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
