Baseball Game Preview: Sebastopol Bobcats vs. Forest Bearcats

The Sebastopol Bobcats will head out on the road to take on the Forest Bearcats at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Sebastopol lost 12-2 to Pisgah on Friday. The Bobcats have struggled against the Dragons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Sebastopol saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke McGarrity, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Forest took on Mendenhall on Thursday. The Bearcats took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Sebastopol, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.

Everything went Sebastopol's way against Forest in their previous matchup back in February, as Sebastopol made off with a 14-3 win. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Bearcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
