Baseball Game Preview: Eagle's View Warriors vs. University Christian Christians

Eagle's View is 1-9 against University Christian since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. Eagle's View will welcome University Christian at 6:30 p.m. Neither Eagle's View nor University Christian posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Eagle's View's offense. They lost 11-0 to Columbia on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Warriors have suffered since May 2, 2024.

Meanwhile, University Christian also failed to score in their most recent game. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bishop Snyder on Tuesday. The Christians' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Elias Murdock was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out seven batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits.

At the plate, University Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bo Wilson, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

University Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Eagle's View, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.
