Altoona won the last time they faced Amery and things went their way on Thursday too. The Railroaders put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 9-3 victory. The Railroaders not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 25th (when they won 7-1).

The win made it two in a row for Altoona and bumps their season record up to 14-10. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Amery, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.

Altoona wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 12-6 loss against Lake Country Lutheran on the 23rd. As for Amery, they will be playing at home against Bloomer at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
