The Estacada Rangers will take on the Henley Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Estacada is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They put the hurt on Marist with a sharp 42-22 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Rangers considering their six-point performance the game before.

Blake Barger was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 166 yards and three scores. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in October of 2024.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Estacada was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 333 rushing yards. They are 6-1 when they've run for more than 200 yards.
Estacada didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Noah Kim and Barger. Another thorn in Marist's side was Ashton Randall, who picked up a sack and made nine total tackles.
Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Henley on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Seaside out of the water with a 49-13 final score. Winning may never get old, but the Hornets sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Estacada better keep an eye on Joseph Janney. He was instrumental in Henley's win, throwing for 214 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes, while also punching in one TD on the ground. Jeremiah Brunick helped Janney out on the ground, rushing for 105 yards and one score on only 12 carries, while also picking up 30 receiving yards.
Estacada's record now sits at 7-3. As for Henley, their record is now 7-2.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Estacada has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 259.6 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Henley struggles in that department as they've been averaging 223.6 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Estacada barely slipped by Henley when the teams last played back in November of 2022, winning 17-16. Do the Rangers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hornets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
