Soccer Recap: Wayne County Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Wayne County challenged Mt. Pleasant on Thursday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0. Wayne County haven't had much luck with Mt. Pleasant recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Wayne County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Mt. Pleasant, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8-2.

Wayne County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will face off against Richland at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Richland will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Mt. Pleasant surely won't give up without a fight.
