The Shenandoah Raiders will square off against the Wes-Del Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shenandoah is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10 runs per game this season.
Shenandoah took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Alexandria-Monroe, sneaking past 10-8.
Micah Cole looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Collin Osenbaugh was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Drew Fredenburg was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Wes-Del was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-3 to Frankton.
Wes-Del saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zachary Gillam, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
Shenandoah pushed their record up to 16-4 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Wes-Del, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.
Wes-Del's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Shenandoah hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .340. It's a different story for Wes-Del, though, as they've only averaged .231. Will they be able to contain Shenandoah's hitters?
Everything went Shenandoah's way against Wes-Del in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Shenandoah made off with an 8-2 win. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
