Basketball Recap: Pendleton Takes a Loss

Pendleton was the 49-38 winner over The Dalles when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pendleton Buckaroos fell to The Dalles Riverhawks 43-39. While losing is never fun, the Buckaroos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 171st, while the Riverhawks are ranked 35th).

Pendleton has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for The Dalles, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Pendleton will venture away from home to square off against Baker at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for The Dalles, they will square off against Astoria at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
