Alamo Heights was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Harlandale on Friday. The Mules blew past the Indians 42-20. The victory continues a trend for the Mules in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won four in a row.

Harlandale's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braylon Tovar, who rushed for 31 yards and one score, and also picked up 38 receiving yards.

Alamo Heights' win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Harlandale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Coming up, Alamo Heights will head out on the road to challenge Victoria West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
