Volleyball Recap: Liberty Union Lions vs. Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs
Liberty Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-7, 25-5.
Jaelynn Dennison paced Liberty Union's offense, picking up three kills. Dennison got some help from Sophie Sharb and her three assists.
Kylynne Sollberger was nothing short of spectacular for Bloom-Carroll: she had ten digs and eight aces. That's the most aces Sollberger has posted since back in October of 2024.
Liberty Union's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Bloom-Carroll, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
