Basketball Recap: Caldwell Skates Past Smithville with Ease

Caldwell had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Smithville Tigers, posting a 58-19 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 91-43 on January 10th.

Caldwell's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-16. As for Smithville, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.

When Caldwell and Smithville next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Caldwell will take on La Grange and their six-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Smithville will try to stop Navasota's three-game winning streak when the meet at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
