Borrego Springs extended their postseason success on Friday against High Tech NC. They blew past the Raptor 12-4. The Rams are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 12 straight.

Chris Alcaraz made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Alexis Urquidez was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Andres Macuga, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Borrego Springs always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as High Tech NC only posted an OBP of .364.

Borrego Springs' win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for High Tech NC, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-5.
