Volleyball Recap: Kellis Comes Up Short

Kellis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Ironwood Eagles, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Kellis' loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Ironwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Kellis will challenge rival Sunrise Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Ironwood is set to face off against their familiar foe Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
