The victory made it two in a row for Oakville and bumps their season record up to 9-1-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matchups. As for Howell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Oakville will venture away from home to face off against Webster Groves at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Howell, they will head out to square off against Howell Central on October 7.
