Volleyball Recap: Webster Thomas Comes Up Short

Webster Thomas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Sutherland Knights. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2021.

Webster Thomas' loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Sutherland, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-1-2.

Coming up, Webster Thomas will host Brighton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sutherland, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Sacred Heart Academy on the 27th.
