Softball Game Preview: Mammoth Spring Bears vs. Tuckerman Bulldogs

The Mammoth Spring Bears will face off against the Tuckerman Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mammoth Spring comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Mammoth Spring lost 18-3 to Cedar Ridge on Monday.

Meanwhile, Tuckerman got themselves on the board against McCrory on Tuesday, but McCrory never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Jaguars. Considering the Bulldogs have won ten matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Bristen Wheeler was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Gracee McGuire, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Tuckerman is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Mammoth Spring, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.
