It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Greenbrier had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over the Rome Wolves. The result was nothing new for Greenbrier, who have now won 11 matches by four goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Rome from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Madelyn Heckathorn led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Greenbrier pushed their record up to 14-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 33 goals over those five games. As for Rome, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-6.

Looking ahead, Greenbrier will take on Jackson County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jackson County will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Greenbrier surely won't give up without a fight. Rome does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
