Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Riverdale's Seventh in Last Eight Outings + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Gulf Coast, Riverdale was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the LaBelle Cowboys/Cowgirls. That's more bragging rights for the Raiders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-14, 23-25, 25-11.

Natalie Grant was nothing short of spectacular: she had 27 digs and four assists. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September of 2024.

LaBelle's loss came despite strong showings from Daphne Smallwood and Anna Tigertail. Smallwood had 14 assists and five digs, while Tigertail had ten digs and one assist.

Riverdale has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for LaBelle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-11.

Coming up, Riverdale will challenge Divine Savior Academy at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for LaBelle, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Bishop Verot on the 2nd.
