Nazareth Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past the Lyons Lions 12-1. This was payback for the Roadrunners, who suffered a 9-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Nazareth Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Lyons, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nazareth Academy will square off against Carmel at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
