Softball Recap: Magoffin County Takes a Loss

Magoffin County fell victim to Pikeville and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 15-0. The loss continues a trend for the Hornets in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.

Magoffin County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Pikeville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-13.

Coming up, Magoffin County will square off against Paintsville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pikeville, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-0 win against Morgan County on the 25th.
