North Valley typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Lakeview proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Knights by a score of 3-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-1 win back in September.

Lakeview pushed their record up to 7-9 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for North Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-6.

Lakeview and North Valley should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oregon Rankings. The Honkers (ranked 88th) will meet Brookings-Harbor (ranked 212th) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, North Valley will challenge Rogue River at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (71 vs. 243).
