Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chireno). They were the clear victor by a 13-3 margin over the Martinsville Pirates on Monday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Owls as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Martinsville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Chireno Owls face off against Woden Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Chireno will need to watch out since Woden has now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Martinsville, they will host Joaquin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
