Basketball Recap: Harrisburg Takes a Loss

Harrisburg lost against Chambersburg back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Harrisburg Cougars took a 61-43 bruising from the Chambersburg Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 266th, while the Trojans are ranked 15th).

Harrisburg's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Chambersburg, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.

Harrisburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 48-33 loss against State College on the 17th. Chambersburg has also already played their next game, a 45-34 defeat against Cumberland Valley on the 17th.
