Football Recap: Jserra Catholic Falls Short Against Ranked St. John Bosco + How To Watch

JSerra Catholic faced St. John Bosco in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Lions had to suffer through a 70-21 loss at the hands of the Braves. The Lions lost against the Braves in their previous head to head back in November of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 44-24 score last time.

JSerra Catholic's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Clark Cokley, who picked up 113 receiving yards and one score, and Koa Smith-Mayall, who rushed for 43 yards and one TD. Cokley really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 76 yards.

Koa Malau'ulu continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for St. John Bosco, throwing for 309 yards and five touchdowns while completing 88.2% of his passes. Those five passing touchdowns gave Malau'ulu a new career-high. Carson Clark was another key player, picking up 162 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
