Dixie had won three straight games and Tyson Forsey did his part to make it four on Wednesday. The Dixie Flyers pulled ahead with a 67-66 photo finish over the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs thanks in part to Forsey, who went 8 of 13 on his way to 25 points and seven boards. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.
Tyler Walter was another key player, putting up eight points along with ten rebounds and four blocks. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played.
Crimson Cliffs lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Drake Carroll, who went 9 for 17 en route to 24 points. Those 24 points gave Carroll a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Mckay Lindquist, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 20 points.
Dixie has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.1 points per game. As for Crimson Cliffs, they moved to 11-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
Dixie wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 54-51 loss against Hurricane on the 24th. Crimson Cliffs has also already played their next contest, a 49-41 victory against Snow Canyon on the 24th.
