Preview: Las Lomas Knights vs. Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles

Las Lomas is 2-8 against Clayton Valley Charter since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Las Lomas Knights will head out on the road to take on the Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Las Lomas is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.

Las Lomas pushed their score all the way to 76 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 84-76 to Northgate. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game on Tuesday (68), Las Lomas still had to take the loss.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Dylan Devinney, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Vaucher, who scored 13 points along with two blocks.

Meanwhile, Clayton Valley Charter unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 63-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Capital Christian.

Las Lomas now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Clayton Valley Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-5.

Las Lomas strolled past Clayton Valley Charter when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a score of 62-47. Will Las Lomas repeat their success, or does Clayton Valley Charter have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
