Football Game Preview: North Florida Christian Eagles vs. Freeport Bulldogs + Official Tickets

The North Florida Christian Eagles will take on the Freeport Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Florida Christian has given up an average of 27.9 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, North Florida Christian beat Franklin County 48-42.

North Florida Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tommy Coyne, who threw for 244 yards and three TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes. That's the most passing yards Coyne has posted since back in August. North Florida Christian's leading receiver Kyle Estimond was Coyne's top target yet again, picking up 158 receiving yards and one score.

Meanwhile, Freeport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 68-28 defeat at the hands of Walton. The Bulldogs were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

North Florida Christian will have to contain Julius Miles as he made an impact in Freeport's last game. He picked up 87 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also punched in one rushing score.

Freeport's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for North Florida Christian, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-4.
