Soccer Recap: Archbishop Carroll Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Archbishop Carroll's offense. They came up short against the Springfield Cougars on Monday, falling 3-0. Archbishop Carroll haven't had much luck with Springfield recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Archbishop Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Springfield, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Archbishop Carroll will challenge St. Joseph's Prep at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Joseph's Prep's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Springfield, they will square off against Strath Haven at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
