East Rowan has gone 9-1 against Carson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Mustangs will take on the Cougars. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (East Rowan 3.6, Carson 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
East Rowan is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over Dudley. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

Brady Ailshie looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
At the plate, Mason Phelps and Zeke Stewart did most of the damage at the plate: Phelps went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double, while Stewart went 1-for-2 with three RBI and two runs. Those three RBI gave Stewart a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Braylen Ketchie, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Meanwhile, Carson had just enough and edged out South Point 4-3 on Tuesday.
Kendal Sifford tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Carson's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was TJ Harris, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Cameron Williamson was another, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.
Carson pushed their record up to 15-9 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for East Rowan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season.
East Rowan couldn't quite finish off Carson when the teams last played back in April and fell 3-1. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
