Basketball Recap: Knox County Takes a Loss

Knox County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 44-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Louisiana Bulldogs.

Knox County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Louisiana, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Knox County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Westran at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th. After both having extra time off, Louisiana and Wright City will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 13th.
