Recap: Trenton Bulldogs vs. South Harrison Bulldogs
The Trenton Bulldogs fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They blew past South Harrison, posting a 49-12 win on the road. That's another feather in the cap for Trenton, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Trenton was led to victory by Gabe Novak and Brayden Hughs. Novak rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, while Hughs rushed for 133 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries. Novak was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 69 yards. Mason Rongey was another key contributor, throwing for 78 yards and a touchdown on only six passes.
Trenton's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for South Harrison, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
Trenton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. South Harrison is also done with their season.
