Soccer Recap: Westover Takes a Loss

Westover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Terry Sanford Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, Westover can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 489th, while Terry Sanford are ranked 151st).

Westover's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Terry Sanford, they pushed their record up to 13-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Terry Sanford will host Union Pines at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Union Pines will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Terry Sanford surely won't give up without a fight. Westover will be paying especially close attention to Terry Sanford's contest: after Terry Sanford faces off against Union Pines, they'll take on Westover again at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
