Softball Game Preview: Dekaney Wildcats vs. Klein Forest Eagles

The Dekaney Wildcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Klein Forest Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Dekaney can't be to happy about their upcoming road match considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Wednesday. They came up short against Humble, falling 18-3.

Zoe Trevi?o was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played.

Meanwhile, Klein Forest lost 19-6 to Magnolia West on Tuesday.

Dekaney suffered a grim 12-2 defeat to Klein Forest in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Dekaney avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
