Kenny Wellwood put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Tuesday. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Thurston-Cuming County back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Wellwood has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.
