Baseball Recap: East Valley Athletes for Christ's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

East Valley Athletes for Christ was the 7-5 winner over AZ Compass Prep National when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. East Valley Athletes for Christ fell just short of AZ Compass Prep National by a score of 5-4 on Monday. The loss was the Eagles' first of the season.

East Valley Athletes for Christ saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cameron Marshall, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Having lost for the first time this season, East Valley Athletes for Christ fell to 3-1. As for AZ Compass Prep National, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
